Our aspirations for historians:
At St. Peter’s, we want our children to enjoy and look forward to their History lessons and show curiosity about what life was like in the past and how it has shaped life today. Furthermore, we want them to be able to compare life now to what life was like in the past. To enable them to do this they will be taught to ask perceptive questions and know how to use examples of primary and secondary sources to develop their knowledge and understanding. By the time they leave St. Peter’s, they will have a sense of chronology after learning about different periods in History, both in Britain and around the world.
