At St. Peters, our Year 6 Chaplaincy Team take an active role in the Catholic Life of our school.
Our Chaplaincy Team is split into different groups, all with an important responsibility lead the school’s life in faith by supporting our community, the local community and take action on Global fundraising. Our Chaplaincy Team take an active lead on prayer and worship in school and at Church and help with the Catholic Mission of service by helping to raise money for various charities throughout the year.
Chaplains apply to be part of one of the groups at the end of year 5 and are trained by our Lead Lay Chaplain Chris at the beginning of the year.
The Chaplaincy Team are also invited to join with other schools in our CMAT to live out the Gospel values, particularly Discipleship.
Our Chaplains have a huge impact on the Catholic life of the school through their continued focus to improve the sense of community and to share the love of God. Please see below for more information on what each group is responsible for.
